Description

Influvac Tetra is an inactivated quadrivalent influenza vaccine designed to protect against four influenza virus strains: two influenza A subtypes and two influenza B lineages. This broad coverage aims to enhance protection against the circulating influenza viruses during the flu season.

Target Diseases

  • Influenza caused by influenza virus types A and B.

Dosage Schedule

Adults and children aged 9 years and older: A single 0.5 mL dose.

Contraindications

  • Severe allergic reaction (e.g.
  • anaphylaxis) to any component of the vaccine or a previous dose of any influenza vaccine Individuals with a history of Guillain-Barré syndrome within six weeks following a previous influenza vaccination should consult a healthcare provider before receiving the vaccine.

Storage Requirements

  • Store in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F). Do not freeze; discard if the vaccine has been frozen. Protect from light by keeping the vaccine in its original packaging until administration.
