Description
Boostrix is a booster vaccine designed to protect against three serious diseases: tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough). It contains reduced quantities of diphtheria toxoid, tetanus toxoid, and acellular pertussis antigens.

Dosage Schedule
A single dose is given as a booster. Pregnant women: One dose during each pregnancy, preferably between 27 and 36 weeks of gestation.

Contraindications
- Severe allergic reaction to a previous dose of Tdap or any of its components. History of encephalopathy within 7 days of receiving a pertussis vaccine.
