Description
This vaccine contains the hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) produced through recombinant DNA technology. It stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies against the hepatitis B virus, providing protection against infection.

Dosage Schedule
Usually receive three doses over a six-month period (0, 1, and 6 months).
Possible Side Effects

Contraindications
- Severe allergic reaction (e.g.
- anaphylaxis) after a previous dose or to a vaccine component. Moderate or severe acute illness (vaccination should be postponed until recovery).

Storage Requirements
- Store at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F). Do not freeze; freezing can reduce the vaccine's potency.
